Beaujolais Nouveau, celebrated on the third Thursday in November always marks the beginning of the festive season for La Fromagerie. It’s one of our favourite November events. So we’ve always celebrated Beaujolais Nouveau Day – sourcing an exceptional Village wine. We love the idea of racing across the channel to be the first to collect a newly released bottle after the harvest, the idea of going full throttle down the motorway in a Morgan sports car greatly appeals.
We choose the Beaujolais-Village as our preference for the Nouveau wine for a more sophisticated forward fruity flavour - Wild blackberry & blackcurrant, A Beaujolais Village of excellent structure, body, colour & aromas. A surprising & magnificent vintage from Burgundy, Chatillon sue Seine, south of Troyes. Really quite delicious!

The Beaujolais will be available to purchase by the glass of bottle on the night, along with our main wine list.
Kindly note a discretionary 12.5% service charge will be added to the final bill on the night which goes to the staff.
