Product information:

Our founder, Patricia, has selected the perfect cheeses that she will be enjoying over the summer months.

Due to unpasteurised cow's milk soft cheeses from France and Italy not allowed into the UK at the moment, we have had to replace one of the cheeses in the selection.  Patricia has chosen one of the rare cheeses of Spain that she found while on a trip recently and which fulfils all the profiles for the selection.  She is sure you will be delighted with this cheese.

CHEESE

  • Banon | Provence. Unpasteurised Goat Milk. A plump cheese dipped in Eau de Vie and then wrapped in chestnut leaves. With age the flavour becomes more pronounced and stronger.
  • St Elizabeth | Cumbria, Unpasteurised Ewe's Milk. (250g). The Lacaune ewe's milk provides the depth of flavours and richness to this very seasonal cheese. By brine washing the rind it gives the taste a real boost of savoury, herbaceous, tangy flavours with a full bodied aroma rather like a Taleggio from Lombardy.
  • Tomme de Brebis Tarantaise | Savoie. Unpasteurised Ewe's Milk (250g).  From the heart of the Alps where sheep graze on the hillside pastures of the Tarentaise Valley  The flavours on this beautiful cheese are rich and floral with that typically silky lanolin edge and earthy notes.
  • Cupidon | Col de Fach, Loubieres, Unpasteurised Ewe's Milk  (250g). A delightful small creamy cheese with a band of spruce to give a sappy earthy finish.  A perfect cheese for those who love rich, melting styles.
  • Harbourne Blue | Totnes, Devon, Pasteurised Goat's Milk (250g). Made by Ben Harris on the Ticklemore farm – which produces several other of our cheeses – the milk for this blue comes from a farm at Buckfast, on the edge of Dartmoor.
