The crisp air of the Italian Alps mingles with the warm humid air drifting across the region from the Mediterranean sea creating a lingering morning fog that sits over the lush mountain pastures, the steep trellised vineyards and the dark mesic forests, home to the wild boar and winter truffle.
This combination of natural phenomena and the procession of cultures and civilisations that shaped the region has created a terroir unlike any other. Piedmont is home to some of the most prized produce in the world.
For this special event we will explore the food traditions of this gastronomic region through its wine, recipes and ingredients including of course, cheese.
