Join us for our next in the series of our fine wine and cheese tastings hosted by senior Cheesemonger, Max Melvin & Patricia Michelson.

Following the success of our Jura event, we have decided to push the boat out with a ‘deep dive’ event exploring the fine wines and cheeses of Sicily - the mysterious island where explosive natural and human history intertwine. Its maritime and volcanic terroirs and strategic importance to successive civilisations have resulted in wine and cheesemaking traditions that stretch back to Classical Antiquity and beyond. Discover a saffron infused cheese invented by a Norman Knight to cure his wife’s depression, a wine loved by Julius Caesar and an amber wine relegated by Brits to the kitchen reasserting itself as one of Europe’s most complex and delicious fine wines.

We will be serving an aperitif and canapé followed by a flight of six fine wines and six cheeses with  Bronté Pistachio & sheep milk ricotta Cannoli to finish, of course!
