CHEESE

  • Charolais | Burgundy, Unpasteurised Goat's Milk (1 unit - approx 180g). Tubby drum-shaped cylinder with a close-textured pate. The taste is rich and sophisticated.

  • Brie | Ile de France, Pasteurised Cow's Milk (200g). A soft velvety texture with a tender bloomy rind. The taste is complex and rounded and soothing, with notes ranging from mushroom to cauliflower to sauteed cabbage and leek.

  • Tomme D'Estaing | Vallee de Lot, Aveyron. Thermised Ewe's Milk (200g). A new cheese from the wonderful rich ewe's milk of this region.  A pressed, uncooked cheese with natural moulds on the crust; the soft texture has a subtle creamy rich flavour and sweet earthiness of the milk.  Pairs well with dry white wines like Jurancon Sec, Sancerre or Chablis. CONTAINS: EGG.

  • Haut Barry | Larzac, Unpasteurised Ewe's Milk (200g) . The taste has a gently earthy sweetness, quite sophisticated, redolent of the milk, with a fresh hazelnut bite. A delicious end of meal cheese. Allergens: contains EGG.
  • Abondance Fermier | Savoie, Unpasteurised Cow's Milk - (200g) High mountain cheese with a creamy rich texture and a melting fruity flavour. The smooth hard rind has a lovely russet colour from the light brine washing it receives during maturation.
  • Fourme D'Ambert | Auvergne, Pasteurised, Cow - (200g) - The texture is rich and mellow with a nutty, subtle flavour. Perfect partner for fine wines as the taste is not over-aggressive.
